ARCH 497 Summer Study Abroad / JUL. 2014This portion of the Berlin Summer Design/Build Studio was created to allow for compact and foldable sitting and table surfaces for visitors for an International Exhibition hosted in the Prinzessinnengärten in the Kreuzberg District in Berlin Germany. The four “frames” each allow for different spatial experiences around them. There are two “entrance and exit” frames, one “table” frame, and one “bench” frame. These frames are placed around a corner of the garden and enclosed the space for more controlled circulation and for placement of exhibition materials.
