BIRD BLIND
ARCH 201 / SEP. 2012Objective: Design an enclosure located in a bird sanctuary south of McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. The enclosure must hide viewers while offering a view of migrating bird populations.

My design featured a long "tube" kinked up and back in the center to allow for a greater view over the tall grasses. The slats become less dense higher on the structure and also jut out inside to allow for birders to rest their arms while using binoculars.
