Helly Hansen, while undergoing a massive branding change and a push into new North American markets, wanted to open a new retail location in downtown Boulder.
My role in the project was to design not only the space and experiential aspect, but also the fixtures, detailing, and brand representation. I was on call with the general contractor for months as we ironed out all the issues with building in an older building, including but not limited to, a new roof and ceilings, all new walls and adhering to a strict open by date.
This project featured an opening garage door facade and a plethora of built in wood elements and brand expression pieces.
