ORBIT STOOL
/ SEP. 2018I wanted to explore making functional, open-source, 3D printed furniture. The result was a small, yet very detail oriented stool that was designed from the ground up to be easy to print and easy to construct using common, easily sourced parts.
The design was meant to be extremely sensible with soft curved pieces that fit together easily.
All the fasteners were hidden from view and all the printed parts were designed to be printed with no supports and little post production.
